World War 1 Armistice Centenary Military Fundraiser 2nd Sept.
Sunday 2nd September 2018 11 am – 4 pm.
A World War 1 themed fund raiser for military charities within the stunning grounds of Ugbrooke House.
Ugbrooke is delighted to confirm the 2nd Sept. event will support the work of 3 very important Military Charities :
SSAFA Help for Heroes & The Royal British Legion
a highlight of the day will be the “poignant and thought provoking” exhibit The Lost Lives – a simple but challenging display, conceived & created by artist Rob Heard, working closely with the team from SSAFA. Please see link below – Lost Lives the shrouds for more details: Lost Lives the shrouds
Also open to visitors on the day will be the Chudleigh at War & Military Memorabilia Exhibit, the Clifford Family Uniform collection, various Military Charity & Association stalls & Ugbrooke remembers ( a simple but poignant memorial to the lost lives of Ugbrooke).
A musical serenade , BBQ & tea room. Enjoy the exhibitions, the grounds & the lakeside walk, all in support of the work of these wonderful organisations.
Mini tours of Ugbrooke House will also be available *

RNLI Open garden & Fete Sunday 12th August

Congratulations to the volunteers of the RNLI fundraising team from Teignmouth, despite a damp & drizzly day the event raised over £1200, we hope for better weather in 2019. RNLI Day 2018 137
