The Arrival

As your guests start to arrive on Friday afternoon, all will be given the warmest of greetings by our in-house butler who will be on hand throughout your weekend. As the sun slowly sets beyond the lake, host an intimate dinner for up to 24 guests with your closest friends and family by your side in the sumptuous Dining Room, lovingly prepared by our resident chef.

From striking outdoor settings surrounded by beautiful English countryside, to indoor ceremonies imbued with centuries of history, Ugbrooke House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships across a range of exceptional spaces.

Glide up the aisle to exchange your vows in front of the ethereal and romantic garden Pavilion, overlooking the lake and iconic Capability Brown landscape.

Or make your everlasting vows alongside hundreds of years of history in the stately surroundings of the opulent Drawing Room, an unforgettable space for up to 60 guests.

Ugbrooke House provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding reception, offering you the opportunity to personalise every element of your wedding. With an abundance of unique spaces and romantic gardens, you may choose to hold a lavish drinks reception on the lawn terrace, overlooking the lake and rolling Devon hills. Alternatively, sip champagne at the Orangery, set amongst the lavender and palm trees of the formal garden.

After drinks, move through into the stately Robert Adam designed Library, to enjoy fine dining from one of our carefully selected catering partners.
