 LA TRAVIATA (Verdi)

23 - 24 July

7.15pm

In this, our 6th season at Ugbrooke, New Devon Opera is presenting another of opera’s all-time favourites. In a classic story of love and heartbreak, Verdi’s gloriously melodic music ranks amongst his most recognisably tuneful and romantic. Wonderful melodies (sung in English by an international cast of opera singers); a 19 piece orchestra; a community chorus and supporting cast drawn from south west singers; beautiful Victorian costumes, set and lighting - all staged in the courtyard of one of Devon's most lovely country houses.
